ITALIAN BAR & RESTAURANT- HOST/HOSTESS – COFFEE BARISTA, SALES COUNTER (SAN DIEGO)

ITALIAN RESTAURANT, BAR AND CAFE’ HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

– HOST/HOSTESS: greeting and seating customers, professional, friendly and outgoing personality, excellent phone skills and taking reservations, help with to-go orders, neat and professional appearance, ITALIAN SPEAKING IS A PLUS. Must be able to work on week ends and holidays, day time or night time.

– BARISTA, SALES COUNTER:
prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas; Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment; Clean service or seating areas; check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning; Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them; Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products; Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions; Receive and process customer payments; Serve prepared foods, such as muffins, biscotti, pastries, gelato, pizza, sandwiches etc.; Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items; Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation; Take out garbage; Create signs to advertise store products; Set up or restock product displays; Serving coffee drinks, gelato, pastries and baked goods in friendly manners with the clientele; must be able to work on week ends and holidays, day time or night time (please specify if interested in a full time or part time position!). ITALIAN SPEAKING IS A PLUS.
