OPEN CALL: LINE COOKS / BARTENDERS NEEDED ASAP! (East Village)

Located in NYC’s legendary East Village community, Alphabet City…The Cabin NYC is a cozy, rustic and comfortable cottage-like space with a full-service bar serving delicious and unique specialty cocktails. And rather than offering individual starters and main courses, The Cabin NYC serves mouthwatering American Classic dishes with their creative twist and are created for sharing. LINE COOK NEEDED (part time)

Candidates should have the following experience:
* At least 1 year of working the line in an upscale restaurant in NYC
* Ability to uphold company standards
* Ability to work in a high volume/ fast pace environment
* Executing menu items from start to finish
* Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment
* A strong sense of urgency
* Willingness to learn, and eagerness to grow into other roles within the restaurant

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Assists in completing prep and storage of food items
• Prepares high quality food items to order
• Follows recipes and presentation guidelines
• Ensures proper food safety and sanitation standards

BARTENDER NEEDED (part time)

We are seeking strong bartenders that can handle high volume in an elevated setting while maintaining high standards of service.

Requirements:
*A minimum 1 year of experience in service with a background in upscale casual-fine dining
*Must have experience in fast-paced, high volume restaurants
*Enthusiastic, team players with a positive attitude and great communication skills
*Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality with attention to detail
*Professional demeanor and neat appearance
*Must have Weekend Availability

Qualifications:
*Must have a strong sense of urgency
*Must have the ability to anticipate guest needs
*Must be able to deal with all guests and teammates in a professional manner
*Strong wine and spirits knowledge
*Strong food knowledge with the ability to enticingly describe dishes
*Craft cocktail experience is a PLUS and and must be able to work efficiently with jiggers
